Lotería del café
1. To start, the caller (or singer) shuffles the deck. The deck is composed with a set of 54 different cards with images around café on it.
2. One by one, the caller picks a card from the deck and announces it to the players by saying the name on it, sometimes using a verse before reading the card name or saying a characteristic about the image on the card.
3. Each player locates the matching image of the card just announced on their board and marks it off with a chip or other kind of marker.
* In Mexico, it is traditional to use small rocks or any kind of beans as markers.4. Once you completed a table or a previously agreed pattern: row, column, diagonal or a well. You are the winner!
5. You have to announce it, saying a loud "Lotería" right away.
